The Lighthouse Christian Ministry started as a resource center instead of a church. That is why it is both a church and a resource center. The Lighthouse Christian Ministry have its unique multiple functions.

 

As a Church

The Lighthouse Christian Ministry (TLCM) is a group of believers in Ormoc City who comes together for worshiping the Lord our God. We believe that there is one and only true God and that Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth and the life, that no one comes to the Father except through him (John 14:6)

 

As a Resource Center

The Lighthouse Christian Ministry provides Christian Resources for both believers and non-believers. They lend books, VHS, CD¿s and other reading materials that can be used to re-strengthen and encourage the spiritual lives of those people who watch or read these materials. TLCM provides valuable resources for those Christians who seek for materials that can be used for their churches. On the other hand, helps non believers to answer their questions about religion, beliefs, and especially about God.

The Lighthouse Christian Ministry provides trainings for local pastors, workers, and potential leaders. We train them to become better ministers in the mission fields. This is whywe have he Sermon Resource  and the Macedonian Project. We are not only giving them trainings, we also encourage them to practice the 5 Spiritual Disciplines.

 

As a Student Center

The Lighthouse Christian Ministry is trying all its best to reach all people at all walks of life. And part of these reasons is the students. One of the main reason why we exists as a ministry is because of our vision of reaching the students. TLCM also functions as a student center during the week where students can come and enjoy our resources that can be found in the center. We provide a free use of indoor games like chess, darts, table tennis, uno cards, and many more.

 

In addition to all these, The Lighthouse Christian Ministry also wants to reach the whole world which became the main reason why we started this website. In this website, we want to share to you want we are doing and how changed our lives making this a blessing to you as well. This is why we also provides a collection of ebooks, sermon illustrations, sermon manuscripts, and various sermon resources. And take note, this list is continuously growing. We are all called to be disciples. The moment we receive Christ we have been given the command to lead someone to Christ. To take the initiative to GO and MAKE disciples of all nations, BAPTIZING them in the name of the Father, of the Son and the Holy Spirit, and TEACHING them to obey everything that Jesus has commanded us to do. This is what every believer is called to do.
